Q&A
What do you want to be?
I want to be a pediatric nurse because I enjoy working with kids. I am aiming to become a
pediatric nurse because after really thinking about what I enjoy and will enjoy in the future is helping children.
What do you want to do?
I want to be able to help people as in families and communities in any way I can. I think being a pediatric nurse
will allow to help out those families in my own community by making sure they are aware of how they can help their children live a healthy lifestyle.
Are these two questions connected and how are they connected?
These two questions are connected because if you think about what you want do is whats going to lead you to figure what you should do in the future. I think the question what do you want to do is the biggest and most important question a person should ask themselves. The second question really helps you lead into the first question that is asked, which is what do you want to be. I think the second question is more about what are you passionate about and what is it that you love, that you will want to apply to your life in the future. Like, I enjoy working with kids and want to help out families and nursing is one way i can do that.

Neelama, it is great that you have found a career that allows you to do some of the things you want to do in life but I am sure this is not all you want to do. List more. What else do you want to do in life and how are you planning to do those things. At any point in our lives, we may feel like we are in a rut and to get out of that we often have to turn to an internal list of what makes the daily grind all worth it for us and head towards something on that list. You want that list to be long because really all options are open to a bright, strong woman like yourself.
