I do not think that I have attended an oppressive school
system, however I think that the education system in schools is oppressive due
to schools not having enough capability and flexibility to provide students
what they need. The way the education system has been created holds students,
schools, and teachers back. For instance, students who are waitlisted for a
class are not promised a seat on the first day even if it’s the only class they
need. Teacher’s are given a maximum number of students that can enroll in their
class, which limits them as well- resulting that one student to become behind
in their education process. Student’s want to take the classes that are
required for them to get closer to graduation but it’s a mission impossible to
even get the classes they need, even when there are seats to be filled. There
are many students that want to get their education and are passionate about it,
but unfortunately the education system is so limited that it does not allow
them to do that making it oppressive.

About Me
I think the blog space reflects my personality and it will
show who I am as a person. Also, I believe that this blog will reflect on my
own beliefs and decisions. For me my family is the most important to me and
they will always come first. I am really close with my sister and all of my
cousins. Another thing that is very important to is to get an education because
that will lead me to my passion. I am in school to become a pediatric nurse and
very passionate about becoming a nurse. I love working with children’s and in
the future I wish to work in a hospital were I can help children in need. I
hope to become better and more efficient writer in this class. What I value the
most is ambition and that is what’s going to make me be more successful in my college
career. Ambition will help me succeed in the goals I want to achieve.
